I have a 07 mercury grand marquis and the heat only blows out thru the top of the dashboard vents. Can anyone help

Could be the EATC control unit or the dreaded blend door actuator. To replace the blend door actuator the dash needs to nearly removed from the vehicle. If it is the Automatic Temperature control unit (EATC) it is easy to replace but the part is damned expensive. Good luck with it sir.
