Why does my 04 Aveo rev's up to 4000-5000 rpm's while idling, sounds horrible so I turn it off...

I replaced an intake hose and check engine light is still on.

could be a bad throttle position scencer or idle control-IAC.

I am have the same problem but my check engine light is not on. Have you found the problem? Thanks in advance!
