i have a 05 chev cobalt and my husband replaced the clutch and slave cylinder and the motor turns but it wont start. do u know what could be wrong

First of all i will check the wire sensors connections that were disconnected,take a good look and make sure nothing its of and everything its connected the correct way. Second do you disconnect the batterie before starting the work? Check fuses
