Question type: General

I want to make sure we get everything we need if we decide to buy from a private seller. What do we need? How do we know the title is a clear title? what other documents should we be getting from the seller? this is our first time buying a used car

The notary will tell us? Also, after we purchase the vehicle we then need to go and register it with Motor Vehicle under our name correct?

Yes need to also purchase a TAG. it’s probably going to be better for you to have someone with you that knows a little about what’s going on.
