yesterday started spudding, left phone cord plug in while parked est 1hr then again 1 hr. (a new battery 3 weeks ago) today engine light came on after driving 4 miles again same on way home

I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent, 5 speed. About every 1500-2000 miles there's little oil left in it. It's not leaking and doesn't seem to be burning it. mpg is 32-34, pick up is good. while driving it seems to mis-fire sometimes. It has 117k on it so I'm wondering if it could be worn piston rings. Any insight would be nice. I guess doing a comp. test could help. 2 Answers
