I have a 71 lemans and the driving lights work at times till i use my brakes and then they eventually just stop working. My back up lights and turn signals don't work either.

common problem for gm cars .change the turn signal switch and check the wires.

I would get some new light sockets, and check the wiring. You may need to rewire the lighting.
