What effect on the ride of my SSR will there be if I lower it.

Asked by afaltus Dec 25, 2010 at 05:11 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet SSR

Question type: Car Customization

I find that there are spring kits available that will lower the front 1 inch and the rear about 1.8 inches.  How will this affect the ride?

1 Answer

All I did was lower the rear the 1.8 inches. I left the front end alone and my SSR rides very well with no change to the ride. By doing this, the car has a better stance and looks much better.
