Car issue

have  2006 Chevy impala. I just had transmission
lines fixed, due to car slipping. Got that fixed. Went
to get an oil change to find out my holes was
stripped, had to replace a whole oil pan. now my
car keeps cutting off but cranking back up. First
was told it was my casting crank. (Might be saying
it wrong) but got that fixed and it's still doing the
same thing. Now I'm being told it's my catylic
converter. Any suggestions before I spend any
more money

Just make sure your having a certified mechanic letting you know whats wrong.
