V6 To V8 swap

Looking at a 1980 v6 firebird with a screwed motor
I would like to put a 350 out of a pick up in it how
hard is the swap

You would have to put the engine AND tranny in as a unit- then the problem is the length of the driveshaft- and other details like that- the Devil's in the details-

Jamnblues is right. Even though a 350 was an available engine in 1980, there are many details that need attention before you make the swap. Do you know if the rear end can handle the added power and torque? How about the location of the motor mounts? Good luck.
