How many of the 1978 SE Firebird Skybirds were made with the 350 Chevy motors that year?

This was my post, i just want to add that when my wife bought the car the guy selling it told her only 3,000 of them with the 350 Chevy were made that year...ive looked all over the place to verify that but cannot find anything...???

there was about 4000 of them. most of them had a chevy 305 or 350. go to this site for more info: firebirdtransamparts.com

The site you gave me was helpful but didnt answer my question, seems the stats for that year were not kept very well...does that mean this car is a Freak that purists dont recognize?

its one of those odd ball limitted addition cars to boost sales like the ford mustang gt500. ill see if i can find more info on this rare bird.

there werent many but i own one and it has the sbc 305 but ive never seen another one were i live but i have heard that there werent alot there were only like 4000 skybirds ever made

I just got one. Mine has the 350 Pontiac motor. Only 39,000 miles. Was sitting untouched in a field for 25 years.
