recurring engine light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My son has a mazda 6, the engine light keeps coming on, we've changed 02 sensor, gas cap, he had an oil lead, changed the gasket but the damn light keeps coming on,  we need to get this car to pass inspection.  He is going to autozone to have them give him a code.  Is there anything else we need to look at?

Thank you, I had my son take it to autozone, the code came back "faulty Catalytic" so we are going to talk to the garage about that one. Thank you so much
