What is a 1977 Rabbit worth if it does not run?

Car is in fair condition but it does not run

Honestly, it is worth whatever YOU are willing to pay for it. Do you know why it doesn't run, or how much money you are willing to spend to make it run? If it's a totally unknown entity, with no idea why it's not running, plan for the worst -- perhaps an engine rebuild? or other major work. How much can you afford to spend to make it work properly? Guide your decision on pricing based on this. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $500-600 for ANY 30-year-old, non-running car that wasn't some kind of special edition or rare collector's item.
