where is the oil filter located on the 2.5L engine?

where is the oil filter located on the engine in a 2007 vw beetle. 2.5 liter?

it should be towards the front bottom of the engine next to the intake manifold. it should just twist right out.

I really don't think it has a spin on filter

HI The filter i a fiber filter n it not very easy to change with out the proper tools. U will end up with oil all over the bottom of the engine. good luck
