74 beetle.. i have a rare hood with ni vents on it.. does it effect the engine temp??

That is a factory hood and should be fine unless you live in a hot climate and sit in traffic a lot- if this is the case, the accepted practice is to put vents in or just prop the door open- is this your daily transportation? good luck

thank u for your answers.. i live in Jordan it's around 30 degrees in summer and im working on it right now to be my daily transportation i heard that if i got rid of the heaters hoses in the summer it might help.. is it true??

Like an air cooled motorcycle, the best bet is just to keep moving- keep the wind flowing over the engine- sitting and idling is to be avoided in these beasts
