Charging

I have a 73 beetle and when im driving it it dies. I
jump it and it runs for weeks the it dies again. What
is going on. I dont know where to start.

Either there is a problem with the battery which it doesn't sound like so there is a problem with the charging system not keeping the battery charged.

Have the charging system checked, any shop, they can do it in a minute or two.
