Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced the starter on my Bug (Helga), I thought that was the problem with it, I also replaced the ignition switch. It still did not turn over or click or anything. I thought it was the wiring so I checked the cont. from the switch to the starter as well as the battery to the starter, they were both good. I can not figure out why the bug will not make any noise or turn over. Please help!

I also replace the fuel pump... not sure if that will have an impact on my problem. I also put in a new battery and the voltage is fine.

Find a wrench that will fit the bottom pulley nut,I can't remember what size it is. Try to turn the motor. If it does not turn over this way, your problem may be bigger then what you have replaced already. How long ago has it been since the motor did run?

I will give it a try, thank you. It has been about four years since it last ran.
