Started in 1973 with the third year of the Super Beetle. It was to add the added distance between the windshield and the driver which was required by the US DOT.

All the used vw beetles are always south or west of boston. I live in danvers & cannot get to these locations. Why don't you ever bring these vehicles to a place close to danvers
