1971 super beetle ignition lock

I have taken the steering wheel off and the turn signals off.  
There is something holding the ignition lock cylind on.  I have watched the video and it shows it just sliding out.  there is something holding it in place and I cannnot find it. I thoughts it was the wires but that is not the case.  What make the ignation lock slide out

There is a little hole near the bottom of the cylinder, you can use a nail push in and pull the ignition cylinder out.
