I am a pretty big guy -wiil I fit in a golf?

Question type: General

I have driven a saturn SL2 and a 93 dodge colt/mitsu. mirage-I am looking at a golf online that is too far away for me to easily test drive. I would like to get some idea before I waste a trip. Thank you for any help you can give.

the golf is a small car,is their a dealer close to you,or someone you know so you can try it out.

In my opinion, if you learn something during the trip - it's not wasted. If you test drive the car and love it, you may have found your next vehicle. If you test drive and can't fit or don't like it, now you know the Golf is not the right car for you. Either way, lesson learned!

It's hard to tell without actually trying it. A co-worker of mine (300+lbs), doesn't drive but is occasionally a passenger in my 1985 Golf. Seat all the way back, still a tight fit.
