1988 jeep Comanche, brake lights and turning signals stopped working at same time. Still have tail lights, how do you fix the problem?

It's a grounding problem, seven years old battery needs to be changed, ground lug off the battery going to the chassis/frame must be solidly attached along with the wire going to the motor. Fresh battery and good ground and things will work properly~

the brake lamp circuit passes through he turn signal switch in the colom. Make sure the flat connector at the colom is plugged in and or making good contact. I believe there is a connector towards rear of vehc.on driver side. may have corrosion in it. Hope this helps....
