There is a vacuum leak somewhere and I cannot find it, is there something common on this truck I'm missing? It idles at about 900 rpm once it warms up as well I think someone played with an idle screw to compensate for the vacuum leak. No matter what I do with that screw the idle doesn't change. What do I have to do to make it idle down again?

Well if I could figure it out here it would be easier... I find in the forums people argue too much I just want straight answers for straight questions

there is no common area that i know of but a easy way to find vacuum leaks is to carefully spray parts of the vacuum system till the engine rev's. something else to check would be the EGR and see if the diaphragm has broken if your truck had one.

What am I spraying it with just water? lol yeah the EGR was one of the first things I actually checked lol

Use brake clean or carb cleaner but don't use starter fluid or water.
