1986 cherokee v6 advice

I put a new battery in and rebuilt the alternater because it tested bad. the ride
ran for a day, now it won't start. i hear nothing from the starter but i do get a
little click from a relay  box by the coolant resevoir. does any body have any
advice on what to do?

check battery the take the relay box off and put a wire long enough to go from both sides of it to loop it around and see if it starts

First thing would be jump it off,if it cranks then your new battery is bad,if it does not crank,then check your starter,some times low amp battery such as the one you replaced will eat the stater from low voltage.
