where is the spare tire located in a 1984 Jeep Cherokee

i am purchasing a jeep and do not know where the spare tire is located.

normally a space saver, in the drivers rear cargo compartment, behind the plastic panel on the left side. If it is a full sized spare, also can be mounted under the rear of the truck, up against the floor of the cargo area. jack and handle are in the engine compartment under the hood, or also in the plastic side compartment in the left rear cargo area.
