I can't get my "sound horn on lock" feature to deactivate. I followed the manual, anyone know any tricks?

The dealership can reprogram the BCM in about half an hour to turn the "horn on lock" feature off for you. Often times the tricks listed in the manual do not work. I see this a lot with customers coming into my work who have tried to reprogram their own keyfobs, etc. The BCM often does not recognize these methods, but it will respond to a reprogramming.
