I was told by the dealership that I was going to need an entire engine replacement so I did that and it still happening. My friend that replaced engine said that now it might be the transmission sensor so that’s what I’m going to try now.

That is what it will be! And I would take the dealership to court over that one. This is a common problem with many posts about it on other sites.

I'm having the same problem. What transmission sensor was it?

I was having the same problem & replaced the transmission speed sensor and temp sensor & now about 6 months later it’s happening again. I’m so drained.
