The basics for problems at higher rpms, check for blockage of some kind. The first two things I thing of are fuel and exhaust. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?

No tune ups at all. Check for blockage where? Do you think I just need spark plugs. What all should the tune up consist of? Thanks for helping me

Check for blockage in exhaust. Use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. You may have to check the pressure under load. Your owners manual should give mileage specs for checking and replacing components, I think of ignition and fuel system components when it comes to tune-up. Check for applicable trouble codes?
