we aren't sure until we get the fuel pump out. would it be easier to slide the bed back because the tank is full of gas?

can you go take the bed off to replace the fuel pump on a dodge ram truck. it's full of gas and really don't want to drop the tank. don't know what size fuel tank we have until we get the fuel pump off.

In my old shop we did it both ways. Personally I liked dropping the fuel tank but we had equipment to pump out fuel through the filler inlet so a tank of fuel meant nothing. The other guys tried the bed idea but said they felt uncomfortable even with the bed carefully blocked up, but they still did it. Time was about the same either way.
