Drain the water ASAP and put new fluid in to see if it works again. How did you get water in the transmission?

A mudhole about 2 years ago. The person I got it from had water above the tranny and parked it right as soon as it started slipping then left it sitting for a couple years.

Yup the transmission will be junk and need a full rebuild. Water in a transmission longer than a few minutes is trouble.
