swap a 1/2 ton rear end 4 a 3/4 ton rear end

what all would i need too do to put a 3/4 ton rear end under my 1984 ram marksman
4X4 150 1/2 ton long bed truck?

I am not positive, but I believe the drive shafts are different. It has been awhile, but the Yokes may be a little larger on the 3/4 ton, A parts house could tell you if it takes the same U joints. If the U joints are the same, then it is a done deal. Good luck, just make sure your gear ratio is the same or you will be snaping axles on dry pavement..
