They were not X-bodied vehicles; those were made by GM. The 4 door Omni and Horizon models (like their two doored brethren, the Dodge Charger, Plymouth Turismo, Dodge Rampage and Plymouth Scamp) were based on the L-body platform. Four door models had a wheel base of 99.1 inches, while the two door variants were shortened to 96.5 inches.
