I have a 88 dodge power wagon 4x4 with a v8 5.2L
engine with a bad tranny. I also have a tranny from
an 88 dodge Dakota 4x4 v6 magnum. Would these
two items be comparable ?

How can I find out which trucks my tranny is compatable with ? I imagine it will fit into more then one model of the dodge make but I am unsure
