i hate my lean burn system!!!! i know that its not something very well know. my boyfriend an i are some of the most educated people on lean burn. we have heard that the compression for our block is different for the lean burn. and we have also heard that its not! so can i get rid of it with out getting a new engine???

no it has the same compression rate as for the lean burn,i dont think so.

Get down to your friendly local Dodge dealer and ask for the Mopar Performance Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit. It has everything that you will need to do the changeover. You may also want to swap the carburetor out with a non-lean burn carburetor once you have done the changeover -- this will depend on how it runs for you after the conversion. You should be able to keep the existing manifold and air cleaner with this setup.
