I have mercedez c 200 model 2001, There is problem with ignition according to technician i should replace the ECU, ECU is A111 153 18 79 can I replace it with A 111 153 30 79 thanks

The problem is there is no cranking, the technician did a  check using
computer after few minutes the engine started and he told me that the relay is
just loose then after few minutes he tried to start again, but it didnt start, he
came up with a recommendation of replacing the ECU unit, is there any way
that it can be check if it is really the problem.Thank you
