i think my turbo sensor is going out, has any one else had this problem and how to fix it. i have been told by dealer it is 95.00 for part and 600.00 to put in has to be hooked to a computer,?

I could not find firm $ figures but the the turbocharger sensor is under $50 (double that from dealer and sounds about right) and I can not figure out how labor, even at a delear @ $100/hour would take 6 hours. Hooking it up to computer is stantard operating procedure and should not increase cost. Now that I read back, I realize this is a non-answer - but not from lack of effort. Have you had an OBDII scan? And what leads you to think the cut-off sensor or Turbo Boost Solenoid is failing?
