i have a 2000 s40 and the wipers just stopped working. I turn them on and they do not move. do i need to take it in or just need to tighten them?

Have you resolved this issue? My 2004 s40 just did the same thing this morning...

My 2005 S40 just did the same thing! Do you guys hear the motor still working when you turn them on? I do, so I'm thinking something may have just gotten disconnected. Let me know if you figure something out.
