Vibrating when accelerate

Hi,
I am expericing vibration when i accelrate my car. Moreover, the engine check light is also appearing. The local Auto tech has communicated me that there is a problem with inner engine shaft and he also demanded very high price for replacing and repairing. would you please advise me what i should do?

Well I don't know that it would be crank shaft usually crank only bends or warps under high stress have u gotten engine code read. A Vibration when accelerating could be caused by several less expensive components. I have seen warped rioters cause this problem and on some cars abs cod will put check engine light on. I believe I would get a second opinion.
