Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a new mast for my antenna but the base has gone into the fender. How do I get at the base and re-install it?

You will likely have to remove the fender to get at it. I had this problem with a Buick Century. Power antenna started running all the time, even with engine off. To service or replace the power antenna it was necessary to unbolt the hood and fender. I cut the wires and capped them with the antenna in the up position and never messed with it again.

Before taking off the fender see if you can get to it by just removing the plastic inner wheel well.
