What could be wrong with my car?

The car seems to drive good and all of
sudden the ABS and BRAKE light come on
and the spedometer stops working and the
car starts to drive really slow around 10mph.
I finally pulled into a parking lot and turned
the car off and now it won't start. I just put a
new battery in a week ago because the
same thing happened and it was driving
good and it happened again. 2002
volkswagen jetta.
