How much did you pay for the motor swap???? The car is worth about 2,300.00 to 3,600.00 so if the motor job is in that range, then you are good, if not, then you are putting more into the car then it's worth.. if you like the car and will have it a few years more then you are good to go...

It really depends on ur budget and if the car body is in good shape to justify spending money on a used engine. I've done it without any issues

So long as the price is reasonable, it was a good move. Your old motor had over 200K miles on it, so it wasn't going to last forever, and probably wasn't worth rebuilding. A replacement motor with 30K is a great option, hopefully that is the true mileage on it, I like to know the VIN of the donor car the motor came out of so I can run a carfax on it and see if that mileage is more or less correct. Keep in mind that's a lot of miles on your current transmission too, if possible obtain the trans that mated to the donor trans, save it for a future transmission swap, or do the entire drivetrain as a unit.

Yeah the car is in great shape i spent 3,400 on the motor which included a new belt pump and hoses and stuff.

If the car was in good shape you should be able to drive it for a long time. I would take good care of the transmission as that could be the next major expense.

You are right in there with the price, keep the car and enjoy it !

Karissa- Great job!!! Is this the original transmission, you must be doing something right the way you drive. Congratulations!
