My car starting  jerking when I was driving and I
thought I had bad gas. After a few days it started
to die. Either while I'm driving or parked. Now my
check engine light is on.

Could just need a tune up. (clean/replace filters, plugs, etc.) You can have the code for the 'check engine' light read by most auto part stores for free, and post those codes here for more info.
