Mazda rx8

Asked by Jahelle Dec 28, 2016 at 11:24 AM about the 2004 Mazda RX-8

Question type: General

Hello, I'm a college student and I want a Mazda rx8.
My drive from home to school is about 6 hours and
I make that drive around 5 times a year. While on
campus the car will be used to go to the grocery
and to go to practice. Is this a car a contender for
me and what I will be using it for?

If this car was well maintained and in good shape, why not? It gets good gas mileage. But caveat emptor, if you're buying used get the car inspected and preferably certified, if it's from a dealer ask about a limited warranty - at the very least run a carfax or ask your insurance agent to look up it's VIN. The only down side is that it is a wankel engine, so maintenance will be higher, and you may be limited in shops in your area that can handle that type of work.

Not really sounds like your going to be using it more on long distance drives and doesn't get best gas mileage and since it's sports car it definitely does not ride smooths but it's great car just not a convenient comfortable travel car
