Front drivers side noise when starting to drive or turning when car is cold.

What could it be

I'd inspect the motor mounts with a woodblock and floorjack...note the movement with a mechanic's prybar...or strong crowbar~

possibly a drive axle is worn...does it sound clack clack clack and like a helicopter at higher speeds?
