My 2001 F-250 Super Duty V10 5 speed with 4:30 gears and 33x12.50 tires is getting 13 mpg.

After 3 tanks, distance verified by gps and hand calculated. My 1999 Superduty PS 6 speed with 3.73 rear end and 18 inch wheels gets 20.3 mpg on mixed driving. My driving is conservative. The 18 inch wheels help a lot. They give the same result as a 3.44 rear end ratio over the stock 16 inch tires. I plan to superchip and try again.
