Some are bad, some are good. All transmissions wear out eventually.

If there's 1 thing I've discovered over the years...warranties rule the day. Quality builds are only as good as the warranty that backs them. Get someone who knows not only automatic trannys, but also late model Dodge pickups. The tranny setup is as important as the rebuild. Many traps, landmines n pitfalls to destroy an expensive rebuild, without proper experience. Example, I've seen n heard countless complaints of a pickup that had the brother-in-law tranny rebuild n now the damn thing won't even start...common tranns...plant fault.
