i pulled the fuse, will my battery run down even if horn isn't blaring

dodge ram truck horn stuck. 99 1500  hubby oot, can't fix contact in steering wheel now.
is this an ok stopgap?

Pulling the fuse should sufficiently break the circuit between the horn, horn button, and your battery. There should no longer be any draw from your battery to power the horn regardless of the horn button position at this point.
