Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In overdrive.  Doesn't feel like any resistance.  RPM
drop off as soon as you're off the throttle.  Any
suggestions? Cummins by the way

Had same truck brand new and it would free wheel going down a hill when you let off the accelerator it would actually pick up speed if you were towing a load I guess it's just the way it was designed and you couldn't get a jake brake in that year I think it was 07 before they was able to put a jake brake on one and we are talking about automatic I assume.

Thanks for the info , but that's not the answer. I have owned this truck for years . It has never done this before. I'll figure it out . Strange though. No weird noises. Every other gear feels normal
