Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had it checked at a shop no codes they put in a crank sensor. I changed the cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coil, and fuelpump. Sometimes the fuelpump does not power up I changed the relay and cleaned all the grouds I could find. Sometimes when you start it it pops and misses other times it run great.

Where was this sensor located they changed, in the distributor or between the engine and transmission?

The reason I ask is people often call things different names, if you have replaced the sensor between the engine and transmission, the crank sensor, then usually it is the pick up coil or hall effect switch inside the distributor, it is really easy to change.....
