Just bought 2001dodge ram 1500 crew cab front pasenger tire toed out. 3 month old tires and inside tread is bald. Lots of play in steering,all over the road, scared to drive. Cant afford another car. Please tell me this can be fixed.

Of course it can be fixed. But if you can see it toed out by looking at it, then there may be a bent tie rod. That will have to be replaced but they aren't extremely expensive.

Not sure if I'm reading it right. The toed out issue is a simple fix. The tire can't be fixed. My suggestion would be to have the alignment done and make sure, as Colin noted above, they check the ball joints, too. A bad ball joint will also cause a lot of play in the steering, worn tire(s) and wandering while driving. A proper alignment shop will note any bad, bent or worn parts and recommend you replace them before the alignment. Another recommendation would be to rotate the worn front tires to the back and back to front. Especially the tire that has the worn edge.
