Throttle is sticking

Good afternoon gents i have an 02 dodge
ram 1500 3.7 v6 28th a manual
transmission and in the past month or two
the throttle gets stuck around 2000 rmps in
and out of gear i have to tap the gas again to
get it return to normal I've already cleaned
the throttle body with intake and throttle
body cleaner but it hasn't helped I think it
might be a sensor but I'm not sure can
anyone give me some Insight on what the
problem could possibly be thanks I greatly
appreciate it?

What I would recommend is that you disconnect the throttle cable and check the movement of each part. Make sure the cable is not getting hung up and moves freely as well as the pedal. With the cable disconnected from the throttle body, move the throttle body linkage by hand to see if it hangs up.
