A snow plow? You would have to compare the plow mount and see if it will fit. You may need a welder to modify the mount to fit the newer truck. Call up the snow plow manufacturer to see if the mount is bolt on or not.
BTW - A plow built for a 1 ton is probably WAY, WAY too heavy for a 1/2 ton truck.
